Our Practice

Welcome to Kramer Family Dental. Understanding that your smile is a big investment, we strive to make your visit the most comfortable and relaxing as possible. Dr. Miller and Dr. Monroe offer personalized care and are experienced in the latest technology. From cosmetic treatments to daily care, our dentists will ensure that you are not only comfortable with your smile, but love it. Kramer Family Dental provides comprehensive family dental care in conjunction with regular checkups and cleanings. Our focus is on providing excellent dental health and aesthetic results. Treatments range from oral health management and education to complete smile restoration. We are one of the only dentists in Dubuque offering a revolutionary process called Cerec. It allows us to complete fillings, crowns, and veneers in a single setting.

﷯Dr Anna Kramer-Miller D.M.D., F.A.G.D. Dr. Anna Kramer Miller D.M.D., completed her undergraduate education at Loras College in Dubuque Iowa, where she obtained a bachelor in Science. She completed her dental school education at The University of Pennsylvania. There she was awarded by the American Academy of Craniofacial pain for outstanding student in both clinical participation and research for the academy. She is dedicated to treating each patient with an excellent level of care, kindness, and compassion as if they were her own family member. She is devoted to continuing education and expanding her knowledge in all dentistry's continually evolving concepts. Dr. Anna is currently pursuing her masters in cosmetic dentistry from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Miller is member of the American Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association Dr. Miller and her husband Chris love spending time with their four children. They reside in Dubuque, where they enjoy running, tennis, and golf.

﷯Dr Meghan Brown-Monroe D.D.S. Dr Monroe is a native of Dubuque. She graduated from Wahlert High School and obtained her Bachelor of Science from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Through internships, research and participation in dental organizations, she has gained exposure to all branches of dentistry. Dr. Monroe is committed to continuing education and strives to stay up to date on the newest advances in dentistry. She is so excited to be practicing in her hometown and is eager to demonstrate her positive attitude and gentle demeanor. Dr. Monroe has been active in sealant programs, Mission of Mercy events, and Give Kids a Smile campaigns. Dr. Monroe is a member of the American Dental Association and Iowa Dental Association. Dr. Monroe and her husband Brandon are proud parents of two young children who bring so much joy and laughter to their lives. In her free time, Dr. Monroe enjoys cooking, running, DIY home projects, and spending time with her loved ones.

﷯Dr Krista Weimerskirch D.M.D. Dr. Krista Weimerskirch was raised in East Dubuque and earned her Bachelor of Science from Clarke College in Dubuque. She earned her degree as a doctor of dental medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2012 and was a resident in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine from 2012-2014. During her two-year residency, she expanded her knowledge and skills in several dental disciplines that included implant dentistry, TMJ disorders, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Weimerskirch is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in a comfortable and compassionate atmosphere. Dr. Weimerskirch is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. She is currently pursuing her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Weimerskirch is thrilled to be living close to her family again. She loves spending time with her family and watching her nephews grow. She also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, shopping, and fishing “Up North” at the family cabin.

﷯Dr Krista Lynn Berryhill D.D.S. A native Iowan, Dr. Berryhill attended the University of Iowa for 8 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and then went on to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Berryhill has practiced in a variety of settings, including owning and running her own practice in Manchester, Iowa for over ten years. She enjoys providing compassionate dental care for patients of all ages. Dr. Berryhill has lived in Dubuque since 1998 and is looking forward to once again be working in her adopted home town. Traveling with her husband, two adult daughters and son is Dr. Berryhill’s greatest joy. When at home, her favorite activity is hiking with her spoiled dog, Lorelei.

﷯Dr Tony Kalb D.D.S. Dr. Tony J. Kalb received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Loras College here in Dubuque. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1981. Dr. Tony then returned to Dubuque to join his father, Dr. A.J. Kalb, in practice. They practiced family dentistry together for 10 years before Dr. A.J. retired. Dr. Tony is an active member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Dubuque Dental Society. He stays up on the latest trends in dentistry by attending many continuing education meetings including hands on training courses.

TARA

Tara has been a dental hygienist since 2008 and has been working part-time at Kramer Family Dental since 2010. She enjoys helping patients with all their oral hygiene needs and loves seeing the difference she has made when patients put her recommendations to use to improve their oral health.

When not working, Tara enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

WENDE

Wende has been a hygienist with Kramer Family Dental since 2003. She has also previously worked as a dental assistant for over 10 years.

Wende enjoys providing her patients with a calm, relaxed dental visit. She is always striving to connect with her patients in a professional yet friendly manner. The relationships she has formed with her patients over the years are a big reason she loves dental hygiene!

Wende and her husband have three grown children. She loves spending time with her family and their dog, Pixie as well as walking, home projects and crafting.

ANGIE

Angie has worked at the office since 1999. She is certified as well as registered in the State of Iowa as a dental assistant. Angie has also taken additional training and is certified in expanded functions.

Angie is married and has three kids. She enjoys her time off spending time outdoors, camping, and hiking.

AMANDA

Amanda has been a dental hygienist in our office since 2002 after graduating from Hawkeye Community College. Her peppy personality and friendly smile helps put patients at ease. She enjoys seeing the improvements made by her patients on their return visits after teaching them new techniques in caring for their dental health. On her days off, Amanda can be found spending time with her wonderful husband and two adorable kids, playing volleyball, decorating cakes, and gardening in the summer.

ALAINA

Alaina has been with Kramer Family Dental since 2014; however she has been Dr. Anna's nanny to her four children since 2012. Alaina graduated from Coe College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English. Alaina has found a passion working in the dental field and puts her skills to use doing front office work. Alaina is set to get married in November 2017 in Clearwater, Florida.

In her free time Alaina enjoys boating with friends and family, shopping, and spending time with her English Bulldog, Butters.

ASHLEY

Ashley graduated from NICC Dental Assisting program in 2016. She is looking forward to getting qualified in Expanded functions.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors.

ANDREA

Andrea has been a dental hygienist since 2000. Andrea loves working with Kramer Family Dental, where she says a warm and friendly environment with lots of laughter has given her flexibility of balancing work and time with her husband and three children. Andrea's goal is that each of her patients leave feeling good about their smile and are more knowledgeable about their oral health.

ALISSA

Alissa has been a dental assistant since 2001. She started with Kramer Family Dental in March 2011. She likes meeting and talking with patients and promoting a positive dental care experience.

Alissa has 3 children of whom she enjoys spending time with. She also enjoys making jewelry, & playing cards.

LINDSAY

Lindsay is a registered dental assistant who graduated from NICC dental assisting program in 2015. She is looking forward to continuing her training this spring to become DANB certified, and qualification in expanded functions. Lindsay takes pride in helping provide a calm and comfortable dental experience for all patients. Lindsay and her husband Jason have two boys that they love spending time with outdoors. In her free time she enjoys hiking, tending to their vineyard, snowshoeing and XC Skiing.

SHELLY

Shelly has been a dental assistant for 15 years, with additional training and certification and expanded functions. She has been working with Kramer family dental since 2014.

When Shelly is not working she enjoys spending time with her Family and friends, watching her son play sports, riding horses, and being outdoors.
